Favorite Books: Oh, just about anything by Charles Dickens (who I prefer to call Chuck D), T.C. Boyle, Lawrence Levine, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and those are all I can think of off the cuff.
Favorite Bands: Belle & Sebastian, Sleater-Kinney, Supergrass, OutKast, The Bad Plus, Thievery Corporation, Kronos Quartet, Ozomatli, Tinariwen...and those are just the bands that are recording and performing in the present day...
