Bob Boilen: Guest DJ on Our Weekly Corn Muffin on December 6th!

This Thursday, December 6, Bob Boilen of NPR’s signature music program All Songs Considered will be joining Steven Aldridge and Maya Munoz of Our Weekly Corn Muffin as guest DJ. Bob Boilen is the creator of All Songs, and has spent decades working at NPR as the director of its signature program All Things Considered. Bob Boilen started the Tiny Desk Concert series on All Songs Considered, a series featuring intimate performances at Boilen’s desk with artists spanning genres from classical to rap to jazz to folk. A bona fide music buff, Bob Boilen is widely considered to be an authority of all things musical, and orchestrates his own musical projects, such as Tiny Desk Unit, the first band to play in D.C.’s 9:30 Club.
Bob Boilen attended the University of Maryland, and will be playing selections that he listened to in college. Tune in to WMUC FM from 10 pm to midnight on Thursday to hear his picks!
