From The Tritones to Thalamos - Evolution of a Psychedelic Surf Band

Dominick of Electric Candle Radio for a feature of the new album called "Delta" from the band, Thalamos.

Thalamos originated in Belgium as The Tritones in December of 2004. They release a demo in 2005 and in 2006, The Tritones released their first EP, Requiem For A Mermaid. Dominick first discovered this band in 2007, while searching YouTube(tm) for music by The Mermen and found The Tritones cover of The Mermen song, With No Definite Future Other Than To Prevail Somehow. The Tritones live performance of this song by The Mermen was introduced to America on the Electric Candle radio show. Another WMUC first!

The guitarist Sébastien Fevry later moved to France and reformed the band under the current name Thalamos.
