This week on (n) flux focuses on the true sonic outlaw, John Oswald. His 1989 album Plunderphonics provided many artists with a new blueprint and sent the RIAA into a legal frenzy.
(n) flux #045 will features three sections: a 30-minute mash up of Oswald's plunderphonic work, the entirity of his "Grayfolded" piece (an hour mash up of miles of outtakes and live recordings of The Grateful Dead's song "Dark Star"), and his music concrete piece "Aparanthesi".
It's all morally, politically, and legally questionable...the way college radio should be!
(n) flux #045...Friday, July 16th...8-10pm on FM-1.
